What is Airsoft?
Airsoft skirmishing was originally developed as a forces training aid and has evolved into a poplar military simulation game utilising exact replicas of real firearms such as Glocks, M16s, AK47s and the M249
These firearms shoot 6mm plastic BB pellets accurately up to a range of 50 metres in single or fully automatic, they offer a more realistic game play than other related activities such as paintball
When a player is hit the person must acknowledge this and call out to fellow players. According to the specific game rules, that person can then either be healed by a medic, regenerate and re-enter the game at a set point, or be excluded from the game for a short time
When a player feels a hit the person acknowledges this and calls that they have been hit. They will then, depending on particular game rules, be healed by a medic, regenerate (re-enter the game) at a set point or be excluded from the game for a short time. We always run games with marshals who help in acknowledging contacts, and all of our sites are covered by a fully comprehensive insurance policy.
