South West Wargames

South West Wargames is owned and run by former Royal Marine Commando, Gaz Braim. Originally formed to offer a training benefit to the Military, in the form of Airsoft Weapon Systems, Battlefield Special Effects and former Military Personel, it has been acknowledge by  senior members of the Royal Marines, Royal Navy and the Army, that South West Wargames have identified an important training tool that they were previously unware of, potentially helping save lives!

We now also offer a specialised service to Corporate Companies & Sports Teams in the form of Team Building and Bonding. In addition to this on a lighter note, but equally as fun and exciting, SWWG also offer Military style events for Private, Stag & Hen Parties, offering you something above and beyond what paintball or laser quest could hope to offer!

What is Airsoft?

Airsoft as we know it originated in Japan in the early 1980's as the Japanese answer to the American craze of Paintball and is now one of the fastest growing sports in the world.

The Airsoft Weapons fire 6mm biodegradable pellets (or BBs) at speeds of between 100 and 500 feet per second at a rate of 1 - 600 rounds per minute. They are more accurate and shoot further than paintball guns, have a fully automatic capability and look and feel exactly like the real thing! Combine this with our realistic training environments, instruction from Royal Marine Commandos, Battlefield Special Effects and you end up with the reasons that we are the most talked about Airsoft, Combat, Simulation Company in the South West....
